La Vulcanizadora and its collaborators propose an unprecedented experience in Parque El Renacimiento. An auto-theatre work conceived for public space (something like a guided visit) in which the actor can be the audience itself, while the surroundings become both stage and installation, where different narratives intersect.
Participants are invited to follow the instructions in order to move through and travel between worlds that are born and worlds that disappear. The Ends of Worlds.
Parque El Renacimiento in Bogotá, built on Globo C of the historic cemetery complex, is filled with stories, anecdotes, and improbable tales. It is also a finite world without end. The experience invites participants to observe Bogotá’s urban landscape while entering into conversation with territories beyond the city, towards other edges: the Amazon, the mountains, the sea, and the interior of the earth, with beings that might be imagined crossing the sky and the stars.
This is the first of a series of auto-theatre works that La Vulcanizadora will develop between 2026 and beyond in different areas of the city.
